An exhibition showcasing the visual artists from the Arthur Creative Studios showcasing work from a variety of art forms including (but not limited to) photography, painting and drawing, pottery, sculpture design, screen printing and digital media.Arthur offers weekly studio access and programs, to artists who identify as having a disability. Within a open studio environment the artists are supported to explore technique and develop a practice

Welcome to the third year of this annual exhibition that will be hosted by IAN (The Inclusive Arts Network) to assist to further develop and promote the work of artists with disability. info@ian.org.au

Sarah straddles disability arts and avant grade performance. Her background is with Vulcana Women’s Circus in Brisbane, with primary skills of aerials, acrobatics, hula hoop and physical theatre. From 2009 – 2014 she worked in New Zealand with companies The Dust Palace, Touch Compass Dance Co., Tim Bray Productions and on productions including Shortland Street and Cirque du Soleil’s ‘Worlds Away’.

A presentation in partnership with Ballarat Health Services ABI Clinic and the SNAP Festival Eva Sifis a Storyteller at large. Artist / advocate / survivor with a difference. Circumstances have directed her life from an international dancing career to one of producing community arts. She has a unique insight into living with disability and is presently using this as a base for the development of workshops assisting the lives of others recovering from Acquired Brain Injury.

Kate Hood has had an actor, writer and director, which lasted for over twenty years. Her film and television credits include Prisoner, Dancing in the Dust, The Flood and Blue Heelers and she has worked as a promotional voice-over artist for the ABC. She works extensively as a voice-over artist, working commercially and has become a strong advocate for actors with a disability, sitting on Actors Equity’s newly formed Diversity Committee as Deputy Chair.
